Inspired by the words of Psalm 34:18. When you are going through some tough times, nothing means more than having someone alongside that understands you. Even if nobody understands what you're going through, Jesus understands. He not only knows, but He understands, feels it and wants to save us from it. From the bible, it tells us that Jesus knew temptation, poverty, frustration, disappointment, weariness, rejection, sorrow, betrayal, ridicule, loneliness. He is not far away, He does not stand back, He is close to your pain, and He knows and feels them deeply as you do. If you'll let Him, He wants to wrap His arms around you. He wants to comfort His children. He is the Prince of Peace.
God is indeed a good Father who is close to the brokenhearted.
