About Artwork:

While painting this, the words "Prince of Peace" and "Man of sorrows" kept coming to me. These 2 statements seem contradictory at first thought but it's not at all. He was the Man of sorrows FOR us. He took on the pain for us so God could fulfill the promise of peace to us. Now that indeed He is the leader of peace, we are assured to have this peace through Him. He is the Man of sorrows, and also the Prince of Peace.

May the verse of Isaiah 9:6 gives you the assurance of who He is in you: For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
